The mission trip was wonderful in every bit of it, even the long travel times.

On the way to Ukraine God used Blanca to lead Albert, a Ukraine boy, to Jesus. In Amsterdam she prayed for a lady with severe headaches and God healed her instantly.

We were to take a train to Donestk, but God had a different plan and on the 12 hour bus ride God used me to lead a man named Vandin to Jesus.

In Amsterdam, at the airport, we met up with Pastor Antonio and his friend and interpreter, Andrew Fomemko. We got to Donesk at 10 A.M. on Wensday and went to the Donestk Christian University to stay. The same day we went to the hospital to pray for the children with Leukemia. It was a struggle at first to get in but the Lord made the way. We prayed with each child, there were about 20 of them. Almost every mother and grandmother of the children accepted Jesus as their Savior. We went back the next day as well. We came with gifts and food and balloons. Pastor Antonio Carlos bought all kinds of things for them. It was a big party, we played for hours with all of the children. The mothers and nurses were so grateful. We also lead a nurse to the Lord that day.

Left Ukraine on Friday at noon. We went by train, 12 hour ride to Russia. What a ride it was. We slept in bunks, it was a real adventure. Arrived in Russia around 3 A.M. and had only 15 minutes to get luggage off the train.

A bus was waiting for us and we praised God and sang on the way to Andrew's house.  We stayed there and at noon time the some day we went to the home of Nina and Pastor Alexandr. They were our host for the next 6 days. What a wonderful family.

We ministered to the youth group the evening that we arrived. They told us that we were such a blessing. Pastor Antonio Carlos well spoke that night and open the opportunity for the team to gave their testimonies. Blanca shared about other trips she had been on with Pastor Antonio Carlos as in Brazil, Kenya, Uganda, etc. 

We visited a Gypsy ladies home sister Paulina, that had received Jesus Christ with Pastor Antonio last year. It was a home she built for herself out of very flimsy material and it had no door. She had her 92 year old mother living with her. She had to do her cooking outside with a hand made fire. The restroom was an outhouse at the top of the hill. Pastor Antonio Carlos again, with Pastor Alexandr 's Church get her a trailer  to live in until they build over there a Community Center.

The rest of the day was ministry and praying over the people, as well as a baptism. We are really going to miss these people. It was a beautiful day.

At least 50 people came up to say goodbye to us on our last day. They all have been so good to us. Took us every where we needed to go. Pastor Paul Tishuk's wife Jane did our nails for us and fixed us a dinner on our last night. She even had a friend of hers come over and we ministered to her. Blanca and I lead her and her daughters to Jesus then Pastor Paul gave her a bible and agreed to spend time discipeling her.
